CARSTEN BO ANDERSEN - Managing Director

Carsten has been KVX's Managing Director since April 2009. Carsten holds a Master of Science in Management (siviløkonom) from Aalborg University, Denmark, and has a rich and diversified professional background. He worked for more than 10 years in the farm machinery industry which shares many common traits with the earth moving equipment sector. He also has broad experience in both the wholesale and retail sales business.

Even though Carsten is originally from Denmark, he has been living in Norway for since 1988. He quickly became a convert to the joys of Norwegian nature and today Carsten likes trekking in the mountains, skiing and gardening. He is also part of the local scout association.

Livar arrived at KVX in April 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. He has a long career as an independent finance & economic consultant. He has worked in various industries such as banking, food & beverages and manufacturing. 

During his free time, Livar likes to gather with his family and friends, exercising and travelling.

Ole has been part of the KVX team since 2004. He was appointed as Sales & Marketing Manager in April 2010. His main responsibility is coordination of all sales & marketing activities worldwide. Ole is also Account Manager for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In addition to Norwegian, Ole is happy to take your inquiries in English and German language. Ole has a degree of marketing management from the Norwegian School of Marketing/BI and has previously worked 10 years in marketing and sales with the Kverneland Group (agricultural machinery) during which he spent 2 years in Soest, Germany.

Ole likes to spend time with his family, wife and daughter; fishing in the mountain lakes and he used to be an active leisure flying pilot.

Bassam joined KVX in August 2010 as Technical Manager. Before that, Bassam worked 3 years at Norway’s biggest steel melting plant where he held the position of Melt shop Manager. Thanks to this position and a previous 8-years experience at a foundry, Bassam has gained valuable knowledge and competences within steel making and metal castings. A Chemical Engineer from NTH (Norway), Bassam also specialized in quality management and holds a Black Belt in Six Sigma from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden). Originally from Lebanon, Bassam came to Norway in 1987. In addition to Norwegian and English, he speaks also Arabic.
