01.09.2010. KVX was pleased to receive an order for 8 Hitachi ZX520 Heavy Duty buckets from Allied Wear Parts, KVX independent dealer in South Africa.
At the end of August 2010, Allied Wear Parts got an order for 8 KVX buckets to equip new Hitachi ZX520s at a chrome mine in the Rustenburg area, in the North West province of South Africa. The buckets will operate in abrasive digging conditions. Therefore KVX and Allied offered Heavy Duty excavator buckets with KVX Sagitta wear bar protection both inside and outside the buckets which will be fitted with KVX M60 stone teeth. The customer opted for KVX as he was convinced that the KVX buckets would offer a longer life with less down time, says Dean Grice, Allied Wear Parts Managing Director. Delivey of the bucket will take place in 2 to 3 times with the first bunch delivered in october and the rest throughout November 2010. In addition to this new buckets, the mine is also running KVX tooth system on ZX1200 and ZX870 excavators.
