KVX manufacture shredder blades, rotary hammers and wear protection systems for various machines and sizes, available in thickness from 9 to 150 millimetres.
Since 1996 KVX have been a supplier of wearparts to the recycling industry. Following a request from the market, where this industry suffered from poor quality and expensive products, KVX supplied its first recycling products to a shredder in Scotland. Since that time, KVX have provided various customers with tailor made parts as well as standard products manufactured from KVX's high quality material. The better performance and longer lifetime of the parts results in a lower operating cost for the relevant machine and a superior total economy for the entire operation.
KVX utilises the same unique steel quality and heat treatment process for its recycling as it does for the parts we provide to the construction and mining industry. All products are made in Sagitta® steel and trough hardened up to maximum 600 Brinell. Typical recycling areas where our products have proven to lower our customers' operating costs are: Wood, Paper, China, Tyres, Glass, Garden Waste, Asphalt, Concrete, Rubber, Cans etc.

As a part of the production process for both large and small shredder blades, the last and final tolerances are set after heat treating. Any curves or uneven surfaces are machined 100% flat to meet the exact tolerances specified between the blades. The finished product still has the same quality of through hardened steel. Shredder blades are delivered in a hardness of 520 Brinell.
The superior grade material of the KVX parts helps avoid the typical wearing problems customers experience with conventional alternatives (which generally necessitate hard-face welding, grinding and other expensive processes). The parts delivered by KVX have resulted in lifetimes up to 3 times those of the original manufactured parts.
