Classic straight wear bars
KVX wear bars offer an excellent protection solution for a wild range of applications including:

Cut-to-length wear bars
“Short wear bars” is the New Trend!
Wear bars are available in short lengths («Cut-to-length»). This means you can have specific dimensions adapted to your needs.
This is especially interesting for bucket manufacturers to reduce manufacturing time and contractors who can have wear bars adapted to fit the buckets for maintenance.
5 reasons why shorter wear bars are a better solution:
- Safety: Shorter bars are safer to handle than 3 or 6-meter bars
- Health and environment: Easier handling due to shorter length and lower weight and no cutting inconvenience (smoke/sound)
- Less need for production equipment and personnel to handle cutting
- Quicker and simplified production due to ready-made bars from stock
- Stocking inhouse is easy due to pallet size bar lengths (less rust)
Curved wear bars
With the same abrasion and impact resistance as classic wear bars, the KVX curved wear bars meet a great success in Norway.
They can perfectly fit the shape of your bucket whatever its volume (700L to 2000L). They ensure a better side protection and generate less resistance when digging.

Banana bars
KVX produces some special curved wear bars, called “Banana bars”, for mining excavators. We meet a great success with a customer who has multiplied by three the lifetime of wear bars.
The design has been made for a PC8000 bucket in operation and KVX is working on other alternatives.

Grouser bars
KVX Grouser Bars have high hardness properties, they are extremely shock and wear resistant; providing the optimum solution for crawler excavators working on hard and abrasive rock surfaces.
Their design will ensure easy, quick and economical welding and provide superior capabilities (restoring traction). KVX Grouser Bars are available in the length of 3 meters and several height and width.
